The Rosary of Liberation is a chaplet prayer based on a scriptural quote: If the son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36
The Rosary of Liberation comes from Brazil. People who have been liberated send in their stories of intercession and books are published filled with these stories. A translated copy of one book can be found in English at amazon.com. The authors are Regis Castro and Maisa Castro.
This [prayer] touches God's heart because it is said in the name of Jesus, and the effect will be felt quickly and powerfully.
Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place
and gave Him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
(Philippians 2:9-11)
Jesus said:
A slave does not remain in a household forever, but a son always remains. So if a son frees you, then you will truly be free.
You are recommended to recite the Rosary of Liberation for experiencing deliverance from various bondages like sin, satanic powers, bad habits, financial crisis, family problems etc., It is said in the Bible "She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). Jesus is the Savior. Therefore the name Jesus not a noun form alone, it is also a verb denoting an action which means when you utter the name Jesus you are proclaiming and praying "God save me and all others from our sins."
Jesus said "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is slave to sin. The slave doesn't continue in the house forever; the Son continues forever. So, if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:34-36)
As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by."
He called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"
Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to Him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?"
"Lord, I want to see," he replied.
Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God. (Luke 18:35-43)
When Jesus hears you proclaim "Jesus, have mercy on me!", Jesus will ask "What do you want me to do for you?"
You will claim this promise with faith and say:
Jesus, heal me!
Jesus, save me!
Jesus, free me!
When we recite the Rosary of Liberation, claim the promise of Jesus as we see in the Bible.
Jesus is the Savior (Matthew 1:21)
Jesus is the Healer (Mark 1:32-34)
He is the Liberator (John 8:36)
Jesus is the God of Mercy (Luke 18:38)
Jesus said "Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7)

According to the original Brazilian version of the prayer, its origin source, the prayer begins with the Apostles' Creed and ends with the Salve Regina (see below).
Fill in the blank with whatever or whomever you are praying for.
For example, "if the Lord sets me free, I will be free indeed."
"If the Lord sets Karen free, Karen will be free indeed."
"If the Lord sets our debt free, our debt will be free indeed."
"If the Lord sets my schoolwork free, my schoolwork will be free indeed."

(You can also pray it for people who are cruel or difficult that you have to deal with often, as well as anything you are concerned or worried about. Also good for health, mental health, finding help and healing, etc etc etc everything. Lay all your burdens at God's Feet and He will help you with all your burdens!)
Apostle's Creed: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day He arose from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. As with all prayers, keep praying faithfully, do not give up on God and He will not give up on you. Submit to the Will of God. Trust in Him. Tell Him you trust in Him and submit to His Will: however things turn out, trust in Him, submit to His Will. He will answer your prayers for you in a way that is the best for your salvation, which may not necessarily be how you expect. If it is not how you expect, it will end up being better than you expect. Even if you don't get the exact healing or whatever that you are asking for. Keep praying and keep trusting in Him and you will see the wonderful things, even unexpected things, the living God does for those who call on His Name! The Lord of Mercy never fails His faithful ones!

Dearest brothers. Today I have to testify to one of the greatest graces receives in all my life.
I was desperate about a huge dubt that was hanging around my neck. I could not eat or drink, nor sleep continuously and was not paying much attention to my children.
I was desperate and even got to the point of thinking about taking my own life because I was always a very Catholic person and always loved my family very much. I began to think about what would become of my mother if I disappointed her another time, since I got married when I was pregnant. Even though my daughter is very attached to her, at the time she was born my mother was very disappointed.
I thought I would kill myself, but, before that, kill my three children, my husband and mother. I thought that, if I killed the whole world, I would find salvation. I was really desperate.
I began to say the Rosary of Liberation, made the novena of Our Lady, and prayed over the Sorrows of Mary. I asked forgiveness and prayed, that's all. I asked God for a solution, but, since I was very upset, I did not see that God was preparing people to help me. Discouraged, I talked to my husband. I thought he would separate from me.
I asked him for the love of God not to tell any of my brothers, but he could not hold out. He saw me as being so desperate that he went to talk with my oldest brother and, thank God, this one was a father to me, really sent by God. He gave me some advice and promised to help me.
Then I asked God and Our Lady to help me get close to people and tell them what had happened. I, who had been so afraid, talked with the couple and they were extremely kind to me. They gave me a new chance to begin again, and I am going to hold on to this opportunity with all my faith. I am going to continue to pray the Rosary of Liberation not only for myself, but also for all the people I live with, especially this couple, my husband, my mother and my brother.
For this I praise, thank and bless God, and I also thank Mary, our Mother, yours and mine.

A friend of my boss and his family visited the farm I am in charge of. There were four adults and a four-year-old child. After dinner, they let the child wonder off by himself and, when they went looking for him, they were shocked to see him floating in a swimming pool! They asked my wife if there was a doctor nearby, and she asked if anything had happened. When she saw the child, she became desperate.
The little boy was purple, all limp and almost without life. They took him to the emergency, and the doctor who attended them did everything she could, but the child did not respond because he was in very serious condition. The doctor said that the child had a lesion in the brain and only a miracle could save him.
The child was transferred to Sorocaba and on the way his heart stopped three times. In the hospital at Sorocaba the little boy continued very bad off and did not respond. When I arrived at the farm and did not see anybody, I went to my neighbor's house, and he told me what had happened. I went back to my house and began to feel sick, I felt very anxious because I did not know how the child was.
Nevertheless, I took the book of the Rosary of Liberation, and, although I did not know the child's name, I began to pray with much faith in Jesus, 'Jesus, have mercy on the child! Jesus, heal the child! Jesus, save the child! Jesus, free the child!' At ten o'clock at night, my wife arrived and said that the little boy was the same. I asked about his name and said once again the Rosary of Liberation for him.
I asked Jesus to heal the brain of Douglas because the doctor of Piedade had said that, even if he was saved, he would not be normal. On Tuesday I found out through a nurse who worked in the hospital that the child could not be saved. She was in the hospital on Sunday when the child arrived almost dead.
On Wednesday this nurse friend of mine called the hospital, and the news could not be any better: the child was going well and was out of danger! 15 days later, I called the owner of the farm in Sao Paulo, and she said that Douglas was in excellent condition without any lesion.

On May 18, 1998 I got to know the Rosary of Liberation, and ever since then it has been part of my day-to-day. My son works in a company and he had to take the salary to the wife of one of the employees. When he came home, I noticed that he was down-hearted and very worried; he looked at me without saying anything.
When he was able to break his silence, he told me what had happened. His fellow worker's wife was very sick with terminal cancer. Her days were numbered; she had 33 days to live. This was on June 5th. I began to say the Rosary of Liberation for the intention of that lady whom I did not know; I only knew her name and that they have two small daughters.
For 15 days I did not do anything else except say the Rosary of Liberation. When I least expected it, my son came with the news that his friend's wife had made new examinations and to everyone's surprise she had had a turn for the better that left the doctors amazed. Her recuperation was confirmed with other examinations.
She was healed and left the hospital. I thank God for the miracle. I did not kneel down because I am physically disabled; I have an amputated leg. I thank the Lord for all that happened.
Thank You Lord Jesus very much! May all those who say the Rosary of Liberation also be able to give their testimony. I thank the Lord and may His name be blessed forever!

15 year old girl left for dead
I am a 15 year old girl, I live in Garanhuns and praise the Lord for my salvation through the Rosary of Liberation. On January 1st had some very difficult moments in my life. I went to spend the weekend at the beach with my family and I drowned in Enseada dos Corais beach in Recife. I lost consciousness and the water was taking me out; I reached the corals and beyond the corals I was already passing into the open seas. They got me out practically dead without oxygen in the brain, blood and lungs as well. I spent four days in the ICU and eight doctors gave me up for dead. When my family heard about it, they knelt down, and my grandmother together with my mother called on the name of Jesus through the Rosary of Liberation. They had said that I could become blind, have a blood clot in the brain and have to take medicine to control possible convulsions. I left the ICU conscious, healthy and with much faith in God.
I received this marvelous grace from Jesus through saying the Rosary of Liberation. I began to make this rosary known to all those whom I meet so that people can also receive different blessings and eternally praise and bless the holy name of Jesus.
I praise and thank You, Lord Jesus, for this grace! May the holy name of Jesus be praised and blessed!

spare a person from a cataclysmic accident
I got to know about the book of the Rosary of Liberation and asked my son to buy it. He and I began to say this prayer every night. My son works in the sugar and alcohol industry and where he works, they use lime, which is a very dangerous product. On May 11, 1998, he went to help a dump truck unload lime into a big empty container three meters high. The truck's tailgate hit my son, and he fell into the container. The drive did not see my son fall and lifted the truck bed to unload the lime. Thanks be to God, the lime did not fall! There was enough time for him to get out safe and sound, and a little later the lime fell. We understood that it was God's hand that held the lime back and did not let it fall over my son to bury him. That lime is like caustic soda. I am writing this testimony because it was a great grace that my son received through the Rosary of Liberation and because only Jesus saves, only Jesus heals and only Jesus sets us free!

doctor with a tumor around his spine
It is with great joy that I write in order to give my testimony. I am a doctor and suffered a fracture in the spine that required surgical treatment, which left me very worried. Through friends I was told about the Raboni prayer group that meets in Rosario Church in Campinas, Sao Paulo. The first day I went there (before the surgery), I was given the book Rosary of Liberation, which I began to say everyday, asking for the surgery to turn out well. I was operated on, and the surgery was done without any mishap. However, after examining the part operated on, a tumor was found. I kept on saying the Rosary of Liberation, asking Jesus to guide the competent doctors to be able to orient adequate treatment for that tumor.
They proposed a treatment that included chemotherapy and a medulla transplant. I began the treatment with much faith, always saying the Rosary of Liberation, asking that the treatment might be made without any obstacles and that in the end I might be completely healed. Once more I obtained the grace I asked for: the chemotherapy and medulla transplant were made without any complications, and today I am healed thanks to the prayer of the Rosary of Liberation.
I praise and glorify the Lord for the marvelous grace I received!

By means of this letter I come to give my testimony of a grace obtained. And it is with great joyfulness that I relate it in these few lines.
Since I was 6 months old I have had asthmatic bronchitis and with a small change in the weather I already became sick. Today I am 69 years old and until I was 68 I still suffered from bronchitis with strong headaches and shortage of breath.
I would spend nights without sleeping and, in order to sleep a little, I had to make a mountain of pillows. I went to various doctors, took many medications, injections and lost hope of ever getting better. A year ago I bought a copy of the Rosary of Liberation [book] and began to say the daily prayers and to accompany the program Raboni e você [the TV show about the Rosary of Liberation that airs in Brazil]. My faith was such that I come to give testimony of my healing. I do not feel anything anymore.
I do not have headaches nor shortage of breath and I am another person. I am sure that it was through the prayer of the Rosary of Liberation and my faith. I have already given several books to people whom I know are in need; and I would sincerely like them to read it with the same faith and will power to pray that I had.
I would like to make my testimony known so that the whole world might know about it and principally those who need to be freed from their problems, pains, anxieties and everything that is bad for the body, the heart and, above all, the soul.
You know, brothers, that only Jesus heals. Praise God, say the Rosary of Liberation and grace will be obtained.
After I bought the book, my will power and faith were so great that I learned to read with God.

In this letter I want to talk about a great miracle, and I want to thank God the Father and Jesus for it. Everything began on Sunday, October 31, 1999. That morning I woke up startled by a noise. When I got to the kitchen I saw my husband trying to get up from the floor and my son was helping him. I asked what had happened and he could not speak. My husband had a convulsion. We took him to the doctor and, after various examinations, it was confirmed that he had a tumor in the brain and needed to have surgery.
After that day my life was one of crying all the time. I spent nights awake, even when I took a sedative. An acquaintance lent me the Rosary of Liberation [book]. I did not know about this rosary because we did not get the Rede Vida channel [the channel that a show about the Rosary of Liberation airs on in Brazil]. The first day that I said this rosary I became very moved because I began to feel the power of the miraculous rosary. The first miracle happened when I began to feel calmer and began to sleep the whole night through.
On December 12th, the day before the surgery, my sister-in-law came and we said the Rosary of Liberation. On December 13th my husband entered the surgery center. I was able to see him and took the little book for us to pray together.
In the waiting room I knelt down and said the Rosary of Liberation with my sister-in-laws. When the doctor came out of the surgery center, he said that the operation went well and that my husband was doing well, but there was a little problem: he had not found the tumor and there was no explanation for the case.
But I had an explanation: MIRACLE! I took a while to write about the testimony because I was waiting for the magnetic resonance examination, which the doctor had required for clarification.
Praise, honor and glory be to Jesus!

With much peace in my heart I give my testimony to the honor and glory of our God who works miracles in the [lives] of those who trust in Him. I had surgery to remove two nodules from the thyroid. They were removed ninety percent of the glad and, after the biopsy, the result was a malignant tumor.
I became completely despondent, but had much faith in the power of God. My family and I said the Rosary of Liberation for thirty days while I was waiting to make new examinations. On my part I would go every day to Church and on my knees in front of the tabernacle I would say the Rosary of Liberation, asking Jesus to heal me through this powerful prayer.
The day arrives. During each examination I was submitted to I would ask, 'Jesus, have mercy on me! Jesus, save me! Jesus free me!' And I would pray insistently with much faith. From the results, the doctor observed that the gland was almost all there because 14 cm is normal and it had 13.5 cm; this meant that it was necessary to operate again to remove all of the gland. I took the result to the surgeon, and he seemed to be confused because he had removed almost all of the gland. A new operation was set for the following week, and I asked my daughter to say the Rosary of Liberation during the operation. When the doctor made the incision, he found only a small pieces of the gland and everything was perfectly in order.
The material was taken for the biopsy. When I returned to remove the stitches, the doctor greeted me joyfully, saying, 'You are very well. In the end... which surgeon was valid: what I did of the spiritual one?' I did not understand and answered, 'Doctor, I pray a lot.' And he answered, 'I am sure you do, and God heard your prayers.' I opened the envelope and read the result of the examination: 'The material sent for analysis does not have any sign of malignancy.'
With much joy in my heart I glorified the Lord. Today I continue going to Church, but to thank Jesus for my healing.

I am writing this letter to give a great testimony about what happened a little while back in my family. My baby sister since she was little suffered from asthma and lives at the doctor. She took various medicines that the doctors prescribed and that other people also recommended. But it looked like nothing was happening. The asthma crises began to occur more frequently. Mo mother did not know what more to do. Since I am very religious, I always knew that the only one who could heal her was Jesus.
I was getting ready to go to Mass, the worst happened. She began to get sick and was out of breath. We took her to the hospital, and, when we arrived, they immediately gave her oxygen, but it was no use. She got worse and worse. The doctors saw her condition and put her in the hospital. My sister began to die.
She was turning purples and did not breathe anymore. The doctors said there was nothing to do anymore. She was already dead. We got desperate and then I remembered the Rosary of Liberation. My mother and I, and another lady who, seeing our agony, decided to accompany us in prayer prayed with much faith and asked Jesus to heal her and to have mercy because we were sure that Jesus would hear us. After a few hours a miracle happened!
My sister sat up in bed, took of the things connected to her and said in a loud voice, 'Jesus healed me!' The other patients in the room were amazed, and Jesus showed us that He has the power to raise the dead. As Jesus said in His Word: 'For me nothing is impossible! Everything is possible for the one who believes!' I never doubted the love of God and I want to thank Jesus for everything that He has done for my sister and family.
Thank You, Jesus! I want to tell people that everything can be changed by the power of prayer. Jesus can give everything that you desire without demanding anything in return because He loves us and is the only true friend we have.

I praise and thank God for the marvelous things He has done in my life through the prayer of the Rosary of Liberation. In August of 1998 I became desperate and almost closed my photography store. I owed 12 thousand reais in electricity bills. Then I sold my car to pay half of the electricity bills.
To add to the desperation, I spent eight days without material to use to work because at the same time I owed my suppliers. I was afraid to go to the store because I did not know what to say to my bill collectors. I asked Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception to give me a light. Then I remembered the Rosary of Liberation. I said it for three days in a row, crying and calling out to the Lord Jesus to heal, save and free me from that affliction. To the honor and glory of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, He healed, saved and freed me. That happened at the end of August. God is marvelous!
I breathed deeply, asked for strength, called my supplier and told him about my situation. To the honor and glory of the Lord, in spite of my debt, he believed in me and sent me the necessary material. In 13 days of work I paid what I owed him, bought another 17 thousand reais of merchandise and paid the rest of the electricity bill. Twenty rolls of film a day were entering the store; on September 8th four hundred rolls came in to be developed!
Glory and praise be given to You, Lord Jesus from all my heart. Thank You, Lord Jesus!

With great pleasure I am writing this letter to give my testimony about the grace I obtained through the prayer of the Rosary of Liberation. I suffered from postnatal depression for 8 years. I lived under the influence of controlled anti-depressants. I could not stop taking them for even a day because I got depressed with a tendency to have a strong crisis.
Last year, on New Years Eve, at the end of the afternoon, I remembered that I did not have anymore pills and had forgotten to get the prescription. I went to the drugstore where I usually bought them and said that I would bring the prescription later, but they did not have the medicine. I went back home.
It was the weekend and I spent four days without taking the medicine. On Monday I went to the doctor to get the prescription. I bought the medicine, took it home but forgot to take it. When I remembered, I thought, 'It has been five days that I have not taken the medicine and I do not feel anything. I am going to skip it again today.'
One day I was at the Legion of Mary and the thought came to me: it has been four months since I have not taken the medicine... And I asked God from inside myself in what moment of prayer the Lord had attended me. I wanted to know which one. And then God put into my heart, 'Do you remember when you said the Rosary of Liberation?' And I remembered. But afterwards I thought that it was all in my head and forgot about it.
Some months afterwards I was at a seminar of life in the Spirit. When the people prayed for me, one of the boys said, 'God is putting into my heart that He needs your testimony very much.' Then I remembered what God had put into my heart, and, after that day, I assumed the grace of healing my depression through praying the Rosary of Liberation.
That is why I am giving my testimony. I only know how to say that the Lord freed me and left me truly free.

I had a friend who I had known for many years, but then we stopped being friends. It's been years since we had stopped being friends, but sometimes I'm still sad and confused about it. I saw the testimonies in the Rosary of Liberation [book]. I did some [rosaries] for myself and for her some years ago but then stopped saying the Rosary of Liberation.
A little more than a year later I started feeling sad about the whole thing again, and I found the Rosary of Liberation [book] again. I hadn't said it in a long time. I was very sad and didn't want to go to sleep even though I only had a few hours sleep the night before. I wanted to keep working and try to forget everything that was making me sad. I finally broke down and said the rosary. I couldn't bare to say it for myself so I said it for her.
In a few minutes I felt very peaceful towards my old friend and I also felt very happy towards the whole situation, which I hadn't ever felt before. I was able to fall asleep happily.
Another time, I said the Rosary of Liberation for someone I knew who was having a difficult time. Out of the blue she started her own business! I really think it was God freeing her to make her own business! It was very exciting to see such miraculous and instantaneous results.
Another time I said it for a co-worker who would always be very cruel to her fellow co-workers. I said the Rosary of Liberation 10 times in a row for her on my break. She didn't know I did, but after that, she acted very different - much nicer than she had acted. Another co-worker even commented that she seemed like she was acting like she was happily in love! But her personal life hadn't changed - she was just a lot happier, thanks be to God and the Blessed Virgin Mary!
Once, I said the Rosary of Liberation for a man I knew of who was very demonic. He had a lot of problems. He would hurt himself and blaspheme and felt very alone because people would always exploit him and take advantage of him and he always let them do it. When I started to say the Rosary of Liberation for him, I felt like something was in my room with me and was very angry at me for praying this powerful rosary for this person. I looked around but didn't see anything. I was scared, but kept going - if something was so angry about me praying this prayer, it must be a very powerful prayer!!! I did three rosaries in a row for him, and the angry presence left and didn't appear again after I prayed for him.
Thank God for giving us this powerful prayer to free people's lives!

Dear brothers in Christ, through the testimony of faith I want to tell how my being set free came about. I lost my father a little over 15 years ago in a sudden accident. I had never been in need and, thanks to Jesus and Mary, this continued to be the case, but things began to get tight. I opened a language school in 1994, and in January of 1998 I was very much in debt and had serious family problems. I went to the beach to try to rest my head.
One day my brother-in-law called saying that the bank did not cash the check for the school's rent and the person needed the money. My family is very traditional. Then, with so many problems, I decided to commit suicide in the ocean.
I left the apartment and went out, but decided to write a letter to my husband, then I found in my mother's purse - she is very religious - the Rosary of Liberation [book]. I began to cry and pray with much faith.
I needed ten thousand reais and had two lots to sell. I gave orders to sell them urgently for this amount. In less than three days the lots were sold for ten thousand reais in cash.
When I received the money I remembered the Rosary of Liberation because it was by means of it that I was attended to by the grace of the Lord.

I am writing to give thanks for two graces received from Jesus. 31 years ago I gave birth to a child. As soon as it was born, I gave it to another family and never saw it again... I did not even know if my son still existed. After I began to say the Rosary of Liberation and ask with much faith, I found my son, to the glory of God!
I have another son who was in São Paulo and did not think about coming home. At the moment [the Rosary of Liberation started on the Brazilian show Raboni e você], I began to pray with all my heart for my son to return. And by the grace of the Lord my son returned home.

I am from the St. Rita de Cassia Community in Itapetininga, São Paulo [Brazil]. In my community there are various movements although the community is simple, humble and located in a poor neighborhood where there are conflicts of gangs and drugs.
The youth group that had been founded in this community began to grow, but all at once because of the perdition [Hell] of the neighborhood, many young people left the group, and it was reduced to four people.
The the directors in prayer decided to say the Rosary of Liberation at the beginning of the meetings asking Jesus to bring the young people back into the group. And it happened that our hearts began to be sure of salvation, and God sent us the Word, which did no emphasize the number of people, but the strength that comes down from heaven.
And the group began to grow, and conversions happened. We would pray at the beginning of the meeting and we sensed the force that Jesus was passing on from the liberations. We saw that young people with problems in the family, involved with drugs and drink, were returning to God. Many did not even have the first sacraments.
Then instruction for Baptism, Communion and Confirmation began. The baptism group was very big, thank God! We saw the power of Jesus the Liberator in the group. At the beginning of the meeting when we begin to say the Rosary of Liberation, the grace of God showers down. Some people repose in the Spirit and others testify to being set free.

With a heart full of gratitude to Our Lord Jesus Christ and Most Holy Mary, I present here my account about the marvelous thing that the Rosary of Liberation performed in my life. Before I knew about it, I already had the habit of saying my daily prayers because communion with God always gave me strength to face day-to-day difficulties.
However, nothing very extraordinary ever happened to me. Until one blessed day my daughter told me about the book of the Rosary of Liberation and gave me a copy. I found the accounts contained in the book to be very moving and began to pray the Rosary of Liberation everyday for my family and my intentions too.
The result was immediate. I had a lump the size of a kernel of corn below my right eye, which was very uncomfortable because it hurt, bled and grew at a frightening rate. Right after I prayed the Rosary of Liberation on the third day, I went to sleep with the lump very inflamed, and woke up in the morning without the same [lump] and with no mark; this amazed everyone at home. It was really a miracle of Jesus through the Rosary of Liberation. I have also obtained other graces.

I am writing to make known a great miracle that Jesus performed in my life. In 1996 my husband lost his job. My dream was to buy a bar using his severance pay. We bought the bar and began to work with the idea of building a house and avoiding paying rent. At first the business went very well but jealousy entered in to suhc a point that my dream became a nightmare. Business began to drop off, customers disappeared, and then I began to struggle hard. I tried to get help and nothing happened... Each day that passed was worse than the last. We lost all our capital, became indebted, lost our credit and reached the end of our rope.
Our life became a real hell! Our resources gave out, nothing went right, and there was nothing we could do. I came down with depression. We had to close the bar and we had no way to pay the rent, water, lights... Everything became accumulated. I would stay shut up at home, traumatized, with bill collectors at the door. I would not open the door for anything, did not eat, sleep, and the house smelled like mildew from being so closed up.
Our friends disappeared, and we suffered many humiliations. But, in spite of all this suffering, I never lost my faith in God, not even for a moment. On June 29th I went out to look for a solution, but it was no use. Returning home, a very great sadness invaded my breast: every step I took seemed to not reach the ground under my feet. I could not stand the pain and without knowing what to do I looked up to heaven and asked God, 'Why, my Father?' And at that moment Jesus appeared to heal, save and free me. Passing in front of Ana's house, our neighbor, I felt the urge to talk with her. I knocked on the door, her husband asked me to come in and said that she was in the back of the house.
I went in, calling her name, but there was no answer. I reached the kitchen door and called her. She turned and joyfully greeted me. When I looked in her hands, I understood why she had not heard me. She was saying the rosary, and Jesus wanted me to see that.
At the time I was embarrassed for having interrupted her, but she asked me to sit down and talk. I told her more or less my problem. She asked me if I knew about the Rosary of Liberation. I answered that I had already heard about it, and then she brought out the little book of the Rosary of Liberation.
The first time I touched the book of the Rosary of Liberation, Jesus touched my heart. I read the first four testimonies, and that was enough to strengthen my spirit and soul. She taught me how to say it. I went away alleviated and with much faith that Jesus would, through the Rosary of Liberation, heal, save and free me. When I got home, my husband was watching a game in deep sadness and asked me if things had worked out well. I answered no, but that I had found the solution for our problems... And I told him what had happened.
At night I laid down and said the first Rosary of Liberation. I felt good, so good that I said the second one and then the third and afterwards went to sleep. I slept with a very deep peacefulness and, when I woke up, it was already daylight. I had not slept so peacefully for almost a year!
Look how powerful the Rosary of Liberation is. A power so great and which brought such peace that words cannot express it. From that moment on, things began to get better, and I said many, many rosaries during the day. Afterwards I bought the little book of the Rosary of Liberation, and each testimony I read strengthened my faith, hope and above all my love for Jesus.
Thus, things began to get better. Jesus healed me of depression, I returned to my normal life, taking care of the house, my husband and my duties. Later we sold the bar, paid up the rent, and things began to fall into place. My brother and my son who already lived here in Itatiba rented an apartment and we came here.
On August 22nd, we were toally set free. Jesus healed, saved and freed us from all suffering. I praise and thank the Most Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and the Virgin Mary for all the graces that I have already received through praying the Rosary of Liberation.

A year ago my life was an ocean of sadness. Everything was wrong and nothing was right. It was a blackness. In my marriage also nothing was right. I did not know what happiness was. Each day that passed, different things appeared: crying, sadness, sickness, pain, poverty, everything going wrong. I prayed, asked all the saints, lit candles and nothing worked out. Each day was worse and the vices in my family were my unhappiness. I had no rest and was very much afraid at night.
Desperate, one day I went to see a person thinking that I could solve my problems, but it was worse. She told me horrible things and I cried a lot and became depressed because I liked very much my family, but it was destroyed. People had to keep talking to me at home because I did not like to be alone. I said that God did not exist, I asked who was Jesus and why I suffered that way.
I did not know what it was to forgive. Look, Maïsa, I searched for and challenged God. I asked Him for light when I was already disillusioned with everything and could not stand it anymore. Then one day on television I heard someone saying, 'Whoever has pain put your hand where it hurts.' I doubted and went out of the room saying, 'If that is true, heal my stomach.' But that week something kept hammering in my head: seek the Rosary of Liberation.
I did not know about it or what it was. On Sunday I stayed in front of the television from 5 o'clock on and it was then that the light I was looking and asking for began to shine in my life. [Editor's note: there's a TV show about the Rosary of Liberation in Brazil - she's saying she caught it on TV that Sunday.] Everything began to happen, but I was not able to understand what was happening with me. I wanted, really wanted, to believe that I could find the life I had lost way back. One day I went to buy the book of the Rosary of Liberation because of the great hope I had to be able to be freed from that situation in which I was living. Maïsa, I began to pray and put myself before Jesus and Mary and said to Him: 'I entrust myself to You.
Come and rescue me for life.' I began to forgive things that for me were impossible to be forgiven: the words that my husband said to me, the blasphemies against God... I thought that He did not like me because of all the terrible things in my life. But Jesus is alive and resurrected in our midst.
The light of heaven shines each day at the right moment and right time. I assume everything... if I suffered so much, it was because I deserved it; but only God knows what He says, we do not know what we say. Jesus is everything to me; He is the doctor of my life.
How can I thank God for so many things that Jesus has done in me: healing, being set free, a strength that comes to us, so great a joyfulness to live in the presence of Jesus? Everyday that dawns I give glory to God and praise the Lord Jesus Christ for my family. Look, Maïsa, the freeing of my life is not the first of the healings that Jesus accomplished in me, but I am going to testify to each one of them.

I hope you are in good health when this reaches your hands. With great joy I am writing to tell about my testimony. After I got to know the Rosary of Liberation, Jesus freed me from everything that did not please the Lord. I lived in sin, committing adultery, going to dances and living far away from the things of God. Then I got to know the Rosary of Liberation.
I have been separated from my husband for a long time and went to live with another man. He is a widower, but I became very sad when I could go to Mass and could not receive Communion. I began to make the novena of the Rosary of Liberation, asking Jesus to free me from everything that did not please God.
I began to make the novena of the Rosary of Liberation with much faith and asked, 'Lord free me from sin because I want to receive You in the Eucharist.' Jesus heard me. Now I live with my unmarried daughter. Only the two of us. I am very happy serving the Lord. I go to reflection group and the prayer group. Regis, I began to pay the tithing of 10% in Church. I began to be faithful to the Lord.
My life changed and God is showering blessings on my life. I was spending a lot at the drugstore and now I spend very little and I lack nothing, thank God. Jesus is blessing me everyday of my life because I now am a woman converted by Jesus. I am only serving the Lord. He is the Lord of my life. He is the treasure I carry inside my heart.
Glory to You, Lord! Thank You very much, Jesus, for so many graces. Regis, it has been two years since I have been saying four Rosaries of Liberation everyday on my knees. Before I begging to pray, I ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten me. Please accept the warm embrace of your listener.

I am writing to give this testimony. Four months ago I went through a trial. My 20 year old son began to complain about a headache. He went many times to the doctor and they found nothing. He had an X ray and nothing was discovered. One day I went to my son's house and he was feeling very bad, did not recognize anyone, could not feel his legs. Therefore, we took him again to the hospital. I did not know that to do. I got very nervous and begged for someone to do something for my son.
The doctors were saying that it depended on the neurologist, but he could only attend him a month later. My son could not wait any longer, otherwise his life would be at risk. I went to his room and kept on praying. I remembered what Jesus said, 'Everything you ask in My name I will give you.' I asked in the name of Jesus that God and Most Holy Mary do something for my son. I returned home and said the Rosary of Liberation. 'If Jesus frees my son, my son will really be free.' Two days later, I was at work when I received the news that he had been transferred to Sorocaba and was undergoing head surgery. They removed half a liter of pus and the operation was very complicated.
Thanks to God and Mary, my son is healed in spite of spending a month in the hospital. While I was praying, I said that, if Jesus healed my son, I would send my testimony. My son's name is Carlos Eduardo and mine is Edivani.

Regis and Maïsa. It is with great joy that I am sending my testimony of graces I received through praying the Rosary of Liberation.
For more than eight years, my daughter suffered a malignant problem. Both she and I suffered a lot. I suffered seeing her suffering the fainting spells and so many other things. I would take her to the doctors and they would say she did not have anything. Many times they did not even prescribe medicine and, when they did, it was not worth anything. It was like she was taking water.
She felt sick at home, at work, on the bus, etc. The last time she felt sick was when she was coming back from work and got off at the bus stop. Luckily, a young man carried her home. When she arrives, she asked me to pray for her. And she said that she also would try to pray, but she could not because of a horrible laughing sound in her ears. It was then that I remembered the Rosary of Liberation. I knew how to say it, but I did not have the little book.
But I put my hand on her head and knelt down. When I finished praying, she was already asleep and only woke up the next day. After that day, she did not feel anything anymore. It has been more than two years that Jesus freed her from this bad thing.
I praise and glorify the Name of the Lord Jesus for this great miracle.

Maïsa and Regis, it is with a great deal of pleasure that I come to write and give my testimony of the blessings my family and I have received.
I smoked for some time and thought I would never stop. A friend told me about this book, the Rosary of Liberation. I stopped and never again smoked. Another blessing that my family and I received was for my father to stop drinking. My father drank for 39 years. He is 57 and began to drink when he was 18. A home health aid came to my house and talked about what was happening. She talked, asked that, if he was going to do to the doctor, she would make the appointment. He said he would go and I went with him.
The doctor gave the medicine, and he said that he was going to stop. The next day he began to take the medicine, but he swelled up a lot. I became desperate. At this point, I hit the floor with my knee and said the Rosary of Liberation. I asked the Lord for illumination that this swelling would go down. Crying, I asked Jesus and Jesus answered me.
Praise be Our Lord Jesus Christ! It has been almost five months now that he stopped drinking. This was the greatest blessing. Please publish this testimony.

I am writing because I made a promise that, if God the Father Almighty helped me, I would send my testimony.
My husband and I were in a very difficult situation. His being out of a job caused us to be constantly fighting. It seemed like his presence irritated me. He would go to look for a job and could not find one. When he got home, the fights began. We had a little money saved up to buy a piece of property. But with his unemployment, it was already apparent that the so dearly acquired money would have to be spent on rent, lights, etc.
Seeing my dream of having my own little house go down the drain was very painful. Then my husband put into his head that we were going to take the money and buy a truck because he already had experience working as a truck driver. This became a fixed idea and he, instead of going out to look for work, would go to look for a truck. But I was very afraid. Then we fought all the more.
It was then that I took up the Rosary of Liberation and asked the Lord to give us a light about what road to take. Then it seemed like a light helped me to understand that that time the work was more important.
The Lord blessed us, putting people who could help us in our path. Today, thanks to God and the Rosary of Liberation, we have our truck and, thanks be to God, work is not lacking.
Thank You, Jesus, and thank you to my sister who gave me the present of the Rosary of Liberation. Now, when I run into a difficult situation, I already know about this powerful prayer that always comforts us in the difficult moments of our life.
I would like very much for you to publicize my testimony because I promised God during that time of suffering, and because I read in the Bible that it is better not to promise than to promise and not keep it.

With immense pleasure, I am writing to you once more to testify to the marvels that the Lord Jesus Christ has been working not only in my life, but also in the life of all my family through saying the Rosary of Liberation. Because it was by means of it that I re-encountered peace, joy and everything good once more. I did not know what 'peace' was anymore.
Thank God, I discovered this prayer and in it found Jesus. And He keeps on freeing me from all bad things and also solving my problems and those of my family - professional, financial, familial, matrimonial ones, as well as moral ones.
Here is what happens. At each grace I receive or see someone in my family receive, I thank Jesus and begin to believe and trust more in His works. I know that from now on the Lord Jesus will never abandon me because it is He whom I call upon everyday, He whom I ask and to whom I offer my prayers.
My brothers, I was desperate, saddened by the disasters that were happening to us. I saw my family fall apart day after day, minute by minute. It seemed like a stone was falling on our heads, crushing us. But, thanks be to God and to the Rosary of Liberation, I saw my family get back on its feet. There were innumerable reasons that led me to say everyday the Rosary of Liberation.
I had a practically alcoholic brother, but last year he fell from a horse on to three barbed wires, which left marks on his neck for the rest of his life. He himself, when sober, would say that he would not drink anymore. But when Satan induced him, he used to do everything he told him. And, when I saw him giving his own blood to the devil, I said to myself, 'I am going to fight with all my might and ask the Lord Jesus to free my brother from this miserable vice.' And today, thank God, my brother does not drink anymore.
My professional life changed completely. By the grace of God my problems were solved from then on.
Every day that passed, the Lord worked a miracle in my and my family's life, and in the lives of those I was praying for.
Thank God! I say the Rosary of Liberation everyday. I have already obtained various graces and I am sure that the Lord Jesus will keep on working miracles in my life and that of my family.

woman with polycystic ovaries on medicine that made her sick
I am testifying to this grace so that unbelievers may turn into believers in Jesus Christ and the strength of the Rosary of Liberation.
I suffered a lot from menstrual cramps and went to a gynecologist. He discovered that my ovaries were polycystic (their normal size is 9 cm but my ovaries were 27 cm) and I had to take hormones for a year to get cured.
But I can't take hormones because I suffer many side effects like shortness of breath, stomachache, headache, tachycardia, dizziness and nausea. I began the medication anyway because there were no alternatives. It was then that I remembered that I had the Rosary of Liberation and I began to say it. I asked for the healing of my ovaries. I did this for twenty days and all of a sudden I stopped because I was sure I had been cured. I had already stopped taking the hormones because I felt really bad.
I went to another doctor in the specialized clinic center of another city. When the doctor did the touch test, she said I did not have [polycystic ovaries] anymore. I was amazed, almost incredulous, but insisted on doing a very specific ultrasonography examination.
There you are! My cure was verified! When ten days of medication, feeling very bad, and twenty days of the Rosary of Liberation! For this I testify to the honor and glory of the Lord Jesus!

I was out of work for nine months. I sent various résumés, but there was no sign of a job. Then, watching your program, I decided to pray the Rosary of Liberation.
I began praying by lighting a candle and, when I would finish, I would put it out daily and prayed the following acclamations: 'If Jesus frees me, I will really be freed from the slavery of unemployment. Jesus, have mercy on me; Jesus, heal me; Jesus, save me; Jesus, free me from unemployment.' I added at the end of each decade [note: a decade is 10 acclamations] that following prayer on my own: 'God grants, God will grant for His mercy is not wanting.'
To the honor and glory of the Lord Jesus, two days before the candle burned out, a job showed up in which I am being registered.

Beloved Regis and Maïsa. I am writing to give my testimony and I ask you to publish it because I promised Jesus.
I had two operations on my stomach, and the nurse, my friend and sister in Christ, gave me the present of the Rosary of Liberation [book], which I have been praying everyday because I was having a very difficult year. I suffered a separation in my marriage after 24 years of a happy union. We had financial and health problems as well. But, thanks to Jesus, I got the strength to overcome these difficulties.
This year I injured my right eye by accidentally squirting a toxic liquid into it. My eye got horrible and, even using various medications, did not get better. With faith in saying the Rosary of Liberation always, I asked Jesus for healing through His grace. It was actually through a friend and neighbor who taught me to put drops of saline solution on the eye to wash it. And, thank God, it was completely healed. I did not feel any more pain in the eye, nor any after-effects.
Here is another important testimony. My son works in a bank and there occurred a difference in his daily balance. He tried to find the error by all possible means and could not find it. He had to pay the difference out of his salary. I did my best to cheer him up.
I asked Jesus with faith in the Rosary of Liberation to show where the error was. And a friend at the bank discovered that a mix up of bank cards had caused the difference. Thanks to the Good Jesus, my son was freed from debt.
I received another marvelous grace. With my Rosary I asked Jesus to help me pay some debts I had because my daily earnings could not pay them. And Jesus answered me in a surprising way: I got enough to pay off almost all of them.
I am very grateful to Jesus and Mary for loving me so much. I thank you, too, from my heart for making the Word of God known and also for this blessed gift of being my friend.
May Jesus keep and bless us always with His divine blessings.

person about to die of lung cancer
This letter is to give thanks for a grace obtained through the Rosary of Liberation.
Two years and two months ago, my father got lung cancer (cigarettes). After beginning to do chemotherapy, he improved a lot and returned to normal life. He was 66 years old. But, forty days ago, he got worse. He had to stop chemotherapy because his organism had no more resistance. The last recourse was to drain the lungs. After doing this in the hospital, he was released to die beside the family.
Since it had been some days that I had bought the Rosary of Liberation [book] after seeing it on television, I had begun to say it for him and, after three days, he began to get better. After leaving the hospital, he could not sleep right. He felt lots of pain in the back, very short of breath and did not want to eat. After beginning the Rosary, everything changed. Improvement came rapidly and, already on the third day of prayer, marvelous things began to happen.
Today is has been thirty days that we began to say the Rosary. He sleeps well, does not feel the strong pains that he suffered, eats normally, is not short of breath and went back to having a normal life.
May Our Lord Jesus Christ and Mary be praised for the blessing that the Rosary showered on my father, as well as for the many graces and blessings that were given to all my family and to me.
I pray every night when I go to bed and in the morning before I get up, giving thanks for the blessings that the Rosary of Liberation performs in my home. I am very happy. Jesus, Jesus, You are our merciful Father.

I am writing this letter to give my testimony for the great grace I received saying the Rosary of Liberation.
My grandfather, 75 years old, trembled and suffered a lot. He would spend days and nights in bed because, if he got up, he would begin to tremble. He went to several doctors, but none of them could say for certain what he had.
They would only that that it was because of old age. He went to the hospital many times, took all sorts of medicine, but nothing worked. In spite of this he tried to live a normal life, principally with the grandchildren for whom he had much affection and had given so much attention.
Last year my grandfather got worse. He did not eat, did not talk and did not recognize anyone. He stayed in bed all the time. Everyone expected the worst at any moment. It seemed like he would die.
Then I began to say the Rosary of Liberation. I spent the whole night praying for my grandfather, asking Jesus to heal him, imploring God to give him back his life. The following morning, as if my a miracle, my grandfather began to pray and from then on he began to get better. The trembling had disappeared.
Thanks to God the Father, Jesus and the Divine Holy Spirit, my grandfather was born again. Thank You Jesus for having healed, saved and freed my grandfather.

person with a horrible disturbance
Greetings! The peace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of us, today and always. Dear friends, I am writing these few lines to thank Our Lord Jesus Christ and Our Lady Aparecida for a great grace obtained.
For some time, I felt something very horrible in my head... It was such a strange disturbance that I do not know how to say what was happening to me. I only know that I was feeling this terrible thing in my head constantly.
Something was leading me to desperation and terrible fear. A disturbance in my mind was totally upsetting my life. I could not stand it anymore, and it was present everywhere. I tried to forget it, but, in spite of trying to distract myself, I could not do it. That disturbance was always in my head, a very sad state of affairs. But God is such a good Father and so merciful. And Jesus Christ and Our Lady Aparecida gave me the great grace to pray the Rosary of Liberation.
I held on tight to the hand of Jesus Christ, Our Savior, and Our Lady Aparecida. I began to pray the Rosary of Liberation with the faith and hope that only Jesus Christ can give us.
Thank God, Our Jesus Christ, Our Lady Aparecida and the Divine Holy Spirit, I was set free. I kneeled down in my room and with much faith and hope I asked Our Lord Jesus Christ and Our Lady Aparecida to free me from everything that was happening to me because I could not stand it anymore.
Thanks to God the Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ and Our Lady Aparecida, a few minutes after I had asked that Jesus free me, I had the sensation that the powerful hands of Jesus and Our Lady were touching my mind, and I was totally freed. I will never forget that day because it was the most important day in my life.
All of this, thanks to Our Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and of the world. I never doubted that only Jesus Christ and Our Lady Aparecida can do everything, principally healing and freeing us.
I always remember one thing: only Jesus Christ is the one and only definitive road we can take. No others exist in life. Do not show the size of your problem to Jesus Christ, but rather show your problem the size and power of Jesus Christ, Our God and Eternal Father.
May the peace of Jesus Christ be always with us. Endearingly.
